Man Who has been Suspected of Being a Thief Have Been Captured In Ogun State In The Act
Isikilu Moses, a suspected armed robber, was taken into custody by Ogun State Police Command officers early on Friday, April 8, while conducting a robbery operation in the Joju neighborhood of Sango ota.
Following a distress call that police officers at the Sango divisional headquarters received, stating that armed robbers had broken into Adebeshi Street, off Joju Road, Sango ota, and were robbing residents of their possessions at gunpoint, the suspect was taken into custody.
SP Saleh Dahiru, the DPO Sango division, promptly mobilized his patrol squad and arrived at the location upon receiving the distress call.
The thugs fled when they saw the police officers, but they were fiercely pursued and one of them, Isikilu Moses, was taken into custody.
One handgun manufactured locally and two cell phones that belonged to their victims were taken from him.
The suspect has been transferred immediately to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for a discreet inquiry, according to CP Lanre Bankole, the commissioner of police, according to DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the spokesperson for the state police command, who confirmed the occurrence. In an effort to prosecute the remaining gang members, he also issued an order for a huge manhunt.
