Death Sentences for Kuwaiti & Egyptian in Al-Rashidi Murder, Ethiopian Woman Faces Execution for Stabbing Colleague, Indian & Egyptian Sentenced to 2 Years & Deportation for Bathroom Spying..


#Kuwait The Criminal Court has sentenced a Citizen and an Egyptian expatriate to death by hanging for the first-degree murder of Mubarak Al-Rashidi. The Public Prosecution had requested the death penalty, citing evidence of premeditated murder. Al-Rashidi's body was found in a container in Salmi weeks after his disappearance in the Subbiya desert,  The investigations, conducted jointly by Kuwait and Egypt, revealed that the first defendant meticulously planned the crime, including preparing equipment, locating the victim, and committing the murder, The Egyptian suspect was implicated for witnessing the crime in Kabd and assisting in transporting the victim's body to Salmi.

Meanwhile, the Court of Cassation has sentenced an Ethiopian woman to execution for fatally stabbing her Indian colleague during a dispute over kitchen duties on the first day of Ramadan last year in Abdullah Al-Mubarak, The Ministry of Interior was alerted by a Citizen about the murder, prompting a swift response from law enforcement, investigative teams, and forensic experts, The accused was apprehended and the weapon used in the crime was confiscated, The case is currently under investigation to determine the details of the incident.

Meanwhile, The Misdemeanor Court sentenced an Indian and an Egyptian who were accused of placing a camera inside a women’s bathroom designated for women in a bank in Farwaniya, to two years' imprisonment with hard labor, followed by deportation after serving the sentence, The court also ordered the confiscation of the mobile phone.

Additionally, the court ordered the referral of the civil case to the concerned civil court after the legal team of the Kuwaiti plaintiff filed a civil complaint, claiming an amount of KD 5,001.

Over two days at the end of May 1946, 28 German war criminals were hanged at Landsberg am Lech prison in Germany (US War Criminals Prison No. 1). The Dachau concentration camp was liberated by two divisions of the U.S. Seventh Army on the 29th of April, 1945.  40 members of it staff were tried at the camp by a US General Military Court, presided over by Brigadier General John Lenz. The trials lasted from the 15th of November to the 13th of December 1945.   36 defendants received the death sentence. Eight of these sentences were reduced to terms of imprisonment by the Reviewing Authority, the remaining 28 death sentences being confirmed.
