After her young nephew allegedly hanged himself on Monday, November 31, from a ceiling fan, a businesswoman has been detained in Lagos, according to IgbereTV.


Vera, the woman's Lagos-based neighbor, claims that the event occurred on Monday, November 30, while the boy's aunt was shopping.


She stated that the youngster, named Kelvin, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling, allegedly in an attempt to determine whether hanging death is a real possibility.


She wrote:

"Life is highly unpredictable, this little boy here helps the aunt in her food stuff shop, like every other business woman, she went to the market to buy goods, not knowing that tragedy awaits her yesterday. This little boy, decided to do some rehearsals, trying to find out if truly hanging himself will take his life, behold this little boy died yesterday and our neighbor now police custody. How can this happen? What went wrong? He's well fed and taken care of, what could have pushed him into taking his own life? oh Kelvin why?

Over two days at the end of May 1946, 28 German war criminals were hanged at Landsberg am Lech prison in Germany (US War Criminals Prison No. 1). The Dachau concentration camp was liberated by two divisions of the U.S. Seventh Army on the 29th of April, 1945.  40 members of it staff were tried at the camp by a US General Military Court, presided over by Brigadier General John Lenz. The trials lasted from the 15th of November to the 13th of December 1945.   36 defendants received the death sentence. Eight of these sentences were reduced to terms of imprisonment by the Reviewing Authority, the remaining 28 death sentences being confirmed. The trial went under the designation “USA against Martin Gerhard Weiß (Weiss) et al.”, Case No. 000-50-2. The interior ministry said the five men - identified by the ministry as Khaled, Adel and Qasim Saraa, Saif Ali Al Sahari and Khaled Showie Al Sahari - also robbed shops after forming a gang.
